For me, it's yoga; just "took too much time" and I let it lapse for years, until I'd gotten to the point I can't get through the day without pain of this, that or the other. I started back with a few yoga stretches and it's like coming back to an old friend! I wonder why I ever stopped? I hope your post encourages others to notice this trend and get back to self-nurturance.Angehttp://www.TapIntoYourself.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9070790538272960248.post-53125259828271818682010-11-15T13:52:16.343-06:002010-11-15T13:52:16.343-06:00you almost wrote my list for me, marge! the medit...you almost wrote my list for me, marge! the meditation...the tea...and believe it or not my daughter and family gave me a certificate for a massage "way across town" (LOL) and i never went! yoga, reading, art, and so many more. i believe the small things we allow ourselves should never be considered luxuries. times like these call for taking special care of ourselves. all of the schedules, the deadlines and the hustle bustle add up to one big stress bomb. if we will each take the time for ourselves, show ourselves some love, wallow in serenity from time to time, maybe we can put out the fuse. after all, what good is it if there is nothing special?Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9070790538272960248.post-69511471534975042232010-11-15T11:50:16.569-06:002010-11-15T11:50:16.569-06:00I, too, drifted away from the daily use of aromath...I, too, drifted away from the daily use of aromatherapy and other holistic practices. There was always some wonderful fragrance in my aroma bowl. I've also not had as much disposable income as in the past. Now, as I'm losing my job shortly, I find my oils so comforting that I'm making them essential instead of "if I have extra money." - Julie MulcaheyJulie-Momhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05971895044446916340noreply@blogger.com
